Susanoo is one of the Gods of the recurrence, symbolised by a bolt of lightening. He first appears in issue 1.

As of 19th May (Issue 8) he has yet to to make an apperancee in the 2014 recurrence, and was last known to have appeared in 1923. One of the last four Jazz Age gods to die, he killed himself in an explosion triggered jointly with the three other remaining gods; Baal, Amaterasu, and Minerva, at Ananke's prompting.

Susanoo appears to be based on Susanoo-no-Mikoto, the Shinto god of the sea and storms, brother of Amatarasu.
