Ragnarock 2014 was a gathering for fans of the Pantheon held in August 2014. It was very popular, described as "bigger than Glastonbury", and the tickets sold out before the end of February.
Organisation[edit | edit source]
In previous years, Ragnarock existed only as a tiny fan convention, and attracted a very niche audience. It held panels and talks by academics who specialised in Pantheon Studies. However, interest grew massively once the 2014 Recurrence began. Woden therefore turned Ragnarock into an "epic statement" at Ananke's command.
Events[edit | edit source]
The event was attended by 500,000 people across five days, including 2-3 August 2014. It was held in Hyde Park, in which a ring of twelve pillars bearing the gods emblems were erected.
During a performance by Urdr, Baphomet attacked the stage and was only prevented from killing Urdr by The Morrigan. This led to a confrontation with Ananke, but the two underworld gods escaped together. Urdr continued with the performance anyway, which was met with enthusiasm by the audience.
