Projection is one of the powers displayed by the gods of the Pantheon. It's the power to project physical matter out of thin air, creating objects based on one's will.
Nergal is a fairly advanced user of this ability, being able to summon an iron bar that serves as his weapon.[1][2] He shapes it from flames and keeps it engulfed in them to increase the damage of his attacks, however, it can exist by itself without being engulfed in fire.[3]
During his attempt to scare the Morrigan's fans, Nergal projected a prop of her head. Although not truly living and technically an illusion, the fake head blurred the limits of illusion casting, since one could interact with it, as seen when Laura took it up and used it in her scene to prevent the two gods from fighting.[4] Later, while Morrigan was trapped in Valhalla, Nergal was able to communicate with her via the ketchup of a Bap-O-Meat burger, projecting a miniature of himself to talk to her.[5] In another occasion, Urdr projected the remains of a bomb Woden had built.[6] After the Morrigan's death, they were "buried" within the temple at the Underground, where Badb and Gentle Annie's bodies were projected in separate from the Morrigan from the first time.[7]
In 1923, Amaterasu used this miracle in order to project a train, using light to shape it from an holographic image into reality in order to defeat Baal and Set.[8]
So far, it's unknown the full extent of creations made by this power. Both the iron bar and the head faded away when they were not being used, so it's uknown if the objects created by this miracle can last indefinitely, although the train created by Amaterasu did not fade away after being summoned into reality.
