Power Granting is a miracle that some gods of the Pantheon display, allowing them to grant other people and even other gods new abilities.
Ananke is by far the most powerful use of this in scale. She is the one who begins the Recurrence by causing the Incarnation, the process in which the gods "take the children", this in, reincarnate in humans.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11]
When the Norns reincarnate, only one of them is the actual god, while the other two receive their powers from the main god. In 2014, Urdr is the primary norn,[3] and if her powers are compromised somehow, the other two lose their powers,[9] although once granted, it seemingly cannot be changed, since when Urdr regains her powers the other two automatically do so as well.[12]
Mimir can enact this miracle through his constructions, being able to produce objects capable of granting others, even gods, their abilities. The Wodens from both this and the previous Recurrence, tapping into Mimir's powers, where capable of making many objects of power in order to assist Ananke.[6][13] The Valkyries all wear and make use of gear that grant them special abilities.[14] However, in 1831, the true Woden displayed this miracle on the Creature by granting it the power to manipulate ice, a miracle she had herself, although, in this case, it's unclear if she bestowed it to the Creature or transferred it altogether, since it costed her life to do so.[11]
The limits of the abilities these power can bestow are unknown.
