Life Manipulation is one of the miracles that can be performed by the gods of the Pantheon. So far, only one god, Persephone, has displayed this often very powerful and unique miracle.
Persephone can manipulate life, specifically plant-life, in her surroundings. However, she can also generate plants, being able to summon vines and roots from deep down the earth, leaving holes behind, and use them to attack or to defend. She can tangle them around her arm to make whips and use them to combat,[1][2] or just burst massive vines to attack. One of hers was capable of drilling a hole in the walls of Valhalla, something thought to be impossible. She can also use them to push her and others down the earth into the Underground[1] or to travel elsewhere.[3]
The plants she generates with this miracle are in a bright green color and are seemingly fluorescent or rather crystalline in appearance, and are not normal plants, since they are much stronger and resistant, capable of withstanding a direct shot from Woden's cannon.[1] Later, Persephone is capable of summoning giant vines to fight the Valkyrie Leviathan to a seemingly evenly-matched combat.[4] When using this miracle with the darkness in order to threathen Woden, the vines that engulfed him where completely black.[2]
This miracle is highly powerful, since she is capable of defeating most of the other gods using it, and she easily torn Ananke's body apart when she was restraining her with her vines.[5] The plants generated by this miracle where not only capable of withstanding Ananke's energy attacks, but also dispersing them.[4] When making use of it against the Great Darkness, however, she only made the shadows grow in size, instead of killing them.[6] Also, her powers were ineffective against the special cage Woden made for her.[7]
