Plot summary[]

Following the battle in the previous issue, Ananke storms into Minerva's room to discover that it contains nothing but an illusion of her, projected by her robotic owl.

Wisdom Is My Dump Stat, 24 September 2014[]

Dionysus appears to fall ill at his party and is forced to stop the hive-mind, to the frustration of his party-goers. He leaves to get a sugary drink, but is surprised by Baphomet and forcibly taken down into the underground. He meets Minerva, The Morrigan and Persephone there and they explain to him Ananke's misdeeds.

At Valhalla, Woden comes across Ananke examining Minerva's owl and the device he built for her. He questions her about Laura's reappearance and she denies that she is alive. The remaining members of the Pantheon hold a meeting and Ananke persuades them of Laura's wrongdoing, though they seem reluctant to believe this. She commands them to rescue Minerva from the underground. They use Minerva's owl to locate their whereabouts and a battle ensues. Amaterasu takes Minerva and transports her back to Valhalla. Baphomet tries to tell Baal that Ananke killed Inanna, but Baal doesn't believe him.

Baal and Sakhmet leave, having completed their task, leaving Minerva's owl behind. On it, the underworld gods find Minerva's files, and discover unwatched footage of Ananke confessing that she planned to kill Minerva to complete the "core sacrament". It had been recorded moments before Woden came upon her. The gods are stunned, and Persephone declares that they must do "whatever's necessary". The issue ends on a title card that reads "Knowing You Know Nothing, 24 September 2014".
