Illusion Casting is one of the miracles performed by the gods of the Pantheon. It's the power to create and shape illusions, and alter the senses of the others.
Nergal is a somewhat advanced user, having created a fake head of the Morrigan in order to scare her fans in the Underground.[1] It was connected to his miracle of Projection and served as a prop-like construct, that could be interacted with, as Laura did. Later, during his attempts to kill Cassandra and Inanna, he casted a flying head of him, projected in red color, to give him emotional support to go ahead with the murders, since doing it was not in his nature.[2][3] Later, he could also do the same, albeit in green colors, creating replicas of Laura's family in Christamas in order to comfort her.[4]
The senses of those within Dionysus' hivemind where completely distorted, losing sense of time or even ignoring basic needs for days without any negative consequence.[5] When moved as an army, the mass of people would not realize they were fighting, and would instead perceive a party everywhere.[6][7][8]
In 1923, Amaterasu's performance in the ballroom of Lucifer's mansion was apparently making full use of it, since she was casting images from her mind. She could later project a holographic image of train which came real, another example that blurs the line between these two miracles.[9] Woden was also capable of casting an illusion of Baal, although he did so by manipulating the light.
