This Recurrence began with the rebirth of Minerva/Ananke on the isle of Crete. Due to her having initial failed to obtain the fourth head for her Ritual during the previous Pantheon, Minerva/Ananke instead spent the next 90 years trapped in a Limbo of complete Darkness until being she was seemingly reborn out of the ground in a patch of green grass during the next Recurrence. She has the appearance of a young brown haired girl. However, her eyes are shown to be haunted and she gouges her cheeks with her fingernails, whispering "Never again". Due to her older body not being present due to her failure in the previous Recurrence, Minerva was forced to take up the mantle of "Ananke" in liu of her older self and incarnate the Gods in her "Maiden" form.
She is shown to later remove Persephone's head, in order to presumably use her head as one of the four needed sacrifices for her Ritual. Ananke is seen in her form as the "Maiden" and thus is seen wearing the same Ox-head skull mask and simple white clothes and white hair as her older Ananke persona in order to initiate the Recurrence.
